sorry to hear you haven't gotten ...Hola Laurie,<br />sorry to hear you haven't gotten rain up there. it has been a dry season in carazo as well, but recently there's been rain almost every night. i like your poem, you've captured many of my own sentiments :) An idea for you: are you growing any medicinal herbs? From what i hear, most folks en el campo rely on traditional plant medicines. might be a good way to get others interested in gardening? do you know La Casita in esteli? (from the hospital, it's about 1/2mile out of town) They have a great nursery including medicinal and culinary herbs (not to mention, fresh yummy food!)
